Newport Folks
I won tickets to the Newport Folk Festival a couple of years ago. The headliner was Wilco, unfortunatly during their experimental faze. I also saw a band called the Mammals, one band member was the grandson of Pete Seeger. Needless to say the Mammals stuck out in my head more than anyone else.
I love Wilco but couldnt deal with their experimental faze.

Drinking Arnold Palmer
My favorite summer drink is half iced tea, half lemonade. It wasn't until a couple days ago did I find out that this concoction has been named an Arnold Palmer. I had been calling it half and half, or special tea.
And apparently this is the deal.....
"For those of you who don't know what an "Arnold Palmer" is, it's a mix of lemonade and iced tea. This combination has been legendary for years.........."
One of Palmer's favorite drinks allegedly is a combination of half iced tea and half lemonade, a drink which is often referred to as an "Arnold Palmer" in his honor. It is now available under the name "The Original Arnold Palmer Tee"

Anyway, here is a recipe my friends mother gave to me, and no it is not called and Arnold Palmer. It is called Special Tea.
Special Tea
4 bags Earl Grey Tea
Handful of Mint
2 cups boiling water
Brew 15-20 minutes
Then remove tea bags and mint
2 lemons juiced
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups boiling water
Brew 15-20 minutes
Add tea to warm lemon/sugar mix
Then add 4 cups of water

Classical Sci Fi Music
I have a few pages left in Flow My Tears, The Policeman Said . I have been reading it for quite some time now (mostly before bed) and have for the most part enjoyed it. I do not ever recommend reading any Dick book before bed. It can become confusing and you loose a lot if you are nodding off. Also it doesn't help de-weird weird dreams.
So finally towards the end there is a reference made for part of the title. Flow my tears is the name of the first abstract piece of music supposedly ever written. It was written in the 1600 by and Englishman by the name of John Dowland.
Well I listened to it and it doesn't sound so abstract to me. What gives?
